My Square Peg Life Blog

My life, loves, my three autistic children, my stepson, music, food and geekery

About Me

I'm Lauren from Birmingham, UK. I live with my partner Paul and between us we have four children. Three of those children are on the Autism Spectrum and it's a major element of our lives. Alongside being a parent carer I also run a charity for disabled children called Square Peg Activities Ltd.

I enjoy music, American TV, cocktails, pretty much all food, wearing black and am a big leftie!

What we're watching...

Finished S4 Pt1 of Stranger Things and obviously loving all the Kate Bush love...she's an icon. It was sooo good!

Currently watching The Handmaids Tail season 1...wow! How have we missed this? Glad I got Paul through the first couple as he was a bit despondent as it's fairly bleak but now we're hooked! No spoilers please.

This week we bought The Secrets of Dumbledore as we couldn't get to the cinema to see it...I thought it was great and I loved the different portrayal of Grindlewald by Mads Mikkelsen. I thought Johnny Depps version was more charismatic but both have merit. Eddie Redmayne, Ezra Miller and Dan Fogler were excellent as usual but Katherine Waterstons "Tina" was missed.
